The Thornton is part of Serene Furniture's Oak Bed Collection and combines sharp vertical lines on its headboard, topped off with its subtle curved top rail and is crafted from the finest American white oaks.

Although Oak is a durable hardwood, it possesses superior bending qualities, finishes well and resists moisture retention. These properties make it extremely popular with furniture makers.

The oak used is carefully sourced from fully sustainable forests, then treated with a honey lacquer that gives it its rich finish and enhances the natural charm and texture of the oak.

The bed frame features a high slatted headboard and a low footboard that enhances the feeling of space, making it perfect for bedrooms that have limited floor space.

To work in harmony with your body movement, posture sprung slats sit within the bed frame. These slats are curved and flexible, providing pressure sensitive support and good spinal alignment.
